12-17 months
For Parent and Toddler introducing water confidence and skills. Additional skill and further enhancement of natural aqua abilities, like submersion (if comfortable), standing entry into pool, and climbing along the pool wall using nursery rhymes
18-24 months
We introduce rotation from front to back and back to front. By this stage we encourage the swimmers to stretch out and grasp onto toys and walls; swim freely through the water with minimal support or with use of a buoyancy aid.
2-3 years
Introduction to swimming lessons and water skills for children aged 2 to 3 years with parents accompanying the child in the water. Introductory swimming practices and abilities like arm and leg techniques, jumping entry into the pool, and water independence with buoyancy aid are taught.
Private Lessons
Our private swim lessons at Golden Lane offer personalised, one-to-one or one-to-two coaching from our experienced teachers; perfect for building confidence, improving technique, or learning at your own pace.
Spaces are very limited, so please check when private lessons are available and book your session or join the waiting list.
To help us prepare, please book the start date at least 48 hours before your first session and contact us so we can confirm details with your swim teacher.
Fees
Fees are charged monthly in advance to your credit or debit card. The first month fees will be prorated and charged on registration.
30 days notice is required for cancellation.
The monthly fee is prorated based on the planned sessions for that month e.g. there are no fees in August.
Pro-rata credits are issued if planned sessions are cancelled for operational reasons (e.g. pool closures).

Some session times have wait lists which will show on the registration page. The beginner sessions in particular have limited spaces due to the student-teacher ratio and high demand.

Holiday Crash Courses
We’re delighted to run swim crash courses in school holidays. These are designed to accelerate skill development and boost confidence. Swim lessons will run daily for 30mins and 45mins for our Advanced swimmers. Kindly note that this is a course enrolment, not a booking for individual lessons.
