Hackney Anaconda has been SwimMark accredited, Swim England’s quality standard for clubs, recognizing high standards in governance, sustainability, and effectiveness, including coaching provision, athlete development, and welfare. While Swim England has paused Swim Mark we still have external checks on on our governance and policies.

The most important guide to our operations is Wavepower, Swim England’s safeguarding policy and procedures document. Its aim is to ensure everyone is able to enjoy our sports and aquatic activity in a safe, positive and enjoyable environment in line with current legislation, regulations and guidance.
